Jordanian Citizen living Saudi Arabia looking to get Visa from Jordan

Hello,
I am Jordanian Citizen living and working in Saudi Arabia, and because of family issues I would love to get China Visa for me and my family members from China Embassy in Jordan.
My Questions are:
1- What are the probable steps to achieve that?
2- Can anyone of my friends apply my application in Jordan instead of me?

First, you need to book flight tickets and hotel reservation for you and your family members, then prepare applicant's passports, passport photos, fill in visa application forms signed by applicants, then submit them to China embassy in Jordan.

your friends can apply visa on your behalf.
