For Beijing/Xian, will tour require a lot of walking? Are wheelchairs available for older folks?

Well, there is not a lot of walking in Beijing and Xian except for the Great Wall, you will need to climb the Great Wall and have a long walking. As for the wheelchair, most of the 4 or 5 star hotels offer such service, you may check with the hotels you booked.
