It is hard to tell you the amount of money you should pay for an apartment since the price differs according to its location, size and furnished condition. Anyway, it is usually about CNY2000 for a well furnished apartment with one bedroom, one living room, one kitchen and one washroom at the downtown area of Chongqing. For reference.
