shopping for cheap stuff in Beijing

Hi . We are traveling to beijing. Could you suggest places for cheap shopping. like street , malls, night markets . we are staying in Dongcheng District, beijing. and also places of visit in beijing..

Well, these wholesale markets around Beijing Zoo should be what you are looking for. Please use the metro close to your hotel and finally get off at Beijing Zoo station of subway Line 4. No matter how long the journey is, the metro fare is only CNY2/person.

For some trendy ones, you could go to Xidan which also could be reached by subway Line 1 and Line 2. You could also find some interesting shops at these Beijing Hutongs, such as Nan Luo Gu Xiang and Yan Dai Xie Jie.
