My family is touring Shanghai and Beijing then back to Manila. Can we buy train ticket from Shanghai to Beijing night travel, any time? Or do we have to reserve? or buy tickets in advance? How many days in advance is safest time?Thank you very much

Hi, there are several night D-trains running from Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station to Beijing South Railway Station, which takes about 10 hours. For the tickets reservation, you'd better book it online around 15 days in advance since the train tickets in China are always under great demands.
