About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

I just received my China Visa and realized the first letter of my surname is incorrect. Will I have a problem with entry to China? Do I need to go back to the consulate to correct this problem and will I be charge a fee again?

Thanks

I have much sympathy for you, however, the embassy website states that applicants should check all the information of the issued visa upon collection and if necessary raise queries at the same time. If there is no immediate query relating to the issued visa, the applicant is held responsible under any circumstances thereafter. You may need to apply for a new visa to China in this regards.
