Your visa can not be extended once issue. If you really can not go to China before July 14th, it expires and you need to apply for a new visa from Chinese embassy again. So, better re-arrange your time of visit to China.

Validity of your visa is until July 14, that means you can enter China anytime before the very date. And 60 days duration means you can stay in China for full 60 days after entry. For example, you enter China on July 1, you can stay for 60 days to August 29. If your intend stay in China will be more than 60 days, you may need a new visa since X can not be extended as far as I know. But to change your X visa to L visa within China is possible.
