About:How to Choose China Train Ticket Types?

I'm traveling alone and want to take a train from Beijing to Shanghai and was considering the hard or soft-sleepers. How is the safety of your items when sharing compartments with other people?

I have ever taken the hard sleepers from Beijing to Xian, and it was pleasant. People are all very kind. But you’d better keep your valuables well.
