About:Chinese Consulate in Auckland

We arrive Shanghai 29 May 2011 on LH726 from Munich at 2.20 pm and depart on 31 May 2011 on NZ288 at 2.15 pm, which is a total time of 47 hrs and 55 minutes. Do we need to obtain a Visa?

My apologies - further to my question earlier, my daughter and I are traveling on NZ passports

You'd better get a transit visa because the transit time is easily more than 48 hours. I know that New Zealand passport holders enjoy 48 hours transit exemption at Shanghai, but it is greatly possible to stay in Shanghai for more than 48 hours.
