I'll be going from Shanghai to Suzhou to Huangshan middle of next week, so can I reserve my Suzhou-to-Huangshan train ticket in Shanghai railway station 2 days in advance? Or would it be better to reserve it a day in advance in Suzhou railway station? TIA

For the train tickets from Suzhou to Huangshan, you could buy them at the train station in Suzhou.
