About:Chinese Consulate in Los Angeles

Dear Sir/Madam,

It's been quite difficult to get an operator from the Chinese consulate. Probably doesn't even have the option to a live person.

My question is, I'm a Taiwanese citizen living in US since 10 years old, has a green card. However, I never been back to Taiwan since. I need to go to China for a business trip, how do I do so? What type of required paper do I need? Do I need to apply for a 台胞證 first? It will be great if someone can point me to the right directions.

Sincerely Yours,

Jim

You can apply for Travel Document of PR.China if you don't have 台胞证, you need to take below documents to China Consulate in person:
1. one filled China Travel Document application photo
2. three 2 inches photos
3. Taiwan travel document or ID card
4. Green Card and its copy.

It takes 4 working days.
