Thanks, Miles. What's the difference between a China visa and a China Travel Document? Which one is easier to apply for and better for my friend to use in China? My friend will be traveling in China for a month.

China visa is issued to foreign passport holders, but China travel document is issued to Chinese citizens. For your friend, he/she can apply for a China Travel document, it is easier.
