Our son is in Wuhan, completing his study in July,2011. We want to visit him on his convocation and also want to see Shanghi, Bejing and Guangzhou. Need to get Approx. Air Ticket Charges and Normal Hotels Charges with following route please, if possible. Kindly also advise how to get Visit VISA for the same.I checked the China Southern Air line. They have flight from Pakistan to China return, with routed as from.. ISB – URC-- CAN – WUH – PEK –ISB.I want 2 to 3 days stay in every city except 15 days in Wuhan. expected date from 15 June to 15 July,2011.

AoA,you may ask your son to send you a letter of invitation from his university. take the letter along with other documents to the embassy for visit visa. if you are close to islamabad you may take china southers to wuhan via urumuchi. If you are in lahore or karachi you can take Thai- air via Bangkok-canton-wuhan. once in wuhan you can book your tickets from elong.net or ctrip.com, whatever seems cheaper.  JazaK Allah

the average rent for a standered double sharing room in Wuhan(below 3 star) is 200Yuan/night. as far as fly ticket is concerned, travel agency beside the road seems providing cheaper price then internet agencies. In China bullet train (train number starting with D)is also a very good choice for city-city traveling. it is always faster and cheaper then plane, but almost same confortable.
