About:Jiayuguan Travel

Am planning to do the Ancient Silk Road by train in September. We go to Jiayuguan Western Terminus of the Great Wall. Being limited timewise am wondering if it is necessary to also do a day tour to the Great Wall from Beijing.

It is impossible for you to do a day tour to the Great wWall from Beijing. It is about a 4.5 hours flight journey from Jiayuguan to Beijing. Well,you can have a visit of Jiayuguan Pass which is represents the western starting point of a section of the Great Wall constructed during the Ming Dynasty .
