About:China Train

My family of 3, arriving in Shanghai on May 5, intends to take an express train from Shanghai to Hangzhou airport around 11am. Kindly advise which station to go to in Shanghai to board and which train (number) goes direct to Hangzhou airport.

From Shanghai to Hangzhou Airport, u need to go to Hangzhou Railway Station first and then to Hangzhou Airport. There are many G-trains running from Shanghai Hongqiao Station to Hangzhou and you can search the train schedules on the page by yourself. From Hangzhou Railway Station to Hangzhou Airport, u can take the airport shuttle bus directly.

Thank you, Mr Moss for your advice on how to get from Shanghai Hongqiao Station to Hangzhou Railway Station. As we are due to meet other incoming Air Asia passengers at Hangzhou airport, kindly advise where (i.e. which level) to catch the airport shuttle bus from Hangzhou railway station to the airport and how long the journey will take. Your kind assistance will be greatly appreciated.

The airport buses leaving from Wulin Gate to the airport have a stop at Hangzhou train station. You can take the airport bus at the train station directly. It takes around 50mins to the airport and costs around CNY20.00 per person.
