hi,i am traveling to china in august of 2011 and i wanted to know when should i turn in my application for my chinese visa since it is only good for 3 months, because i plan on applying for a single interest visa. i also wanted to know, since i plan on flying into to shanghai, but i wanted to visit beijing to go to the great wall of china either by train or plane, should i still apply for a single entrance visa or a double entrance visa.your assistance is greatly appreciated.

If you enter China once only, as you said to visit Shanghai and then Beijing, a single entry visa is enough. You can start in June or July since it usually takes only 4 working days for visa processing.
