About:Xi'an Attractions

we are landing in hong kong for 2 weeks and are thinking of going to Xian. Should we take the train or fly. And what is the cost of each. How far is the great wall from Xian? Thanks in advance for any help

No direct train from Hk to Xian, so plane may be the only choice. If you prefer train, you can go to Shenzhen or Guangzhou first. The air fare of HK-Xian is about CNY1200 for a single way. The train ticket of Hk-guangzhou is about CNY80 for a hard sleeper and CNY120 for a soft sleeper, HK-Shenzhen is HKD33, Guangzhou-Xian is CNY743 for a soft sleeper and CNY430 for a hard sleeper, Shenzhen-Xian is CNY671 for a soft sleeper and CNY438 for a hard sleeper. Personally, I think plane is better, and you may enjoy some priviledge if book a round-way ticket.
