Visa for China - French citizen

Dear Sir / Madam,

I am a french citizen. I will be in rangoon for 3 days at the beginning of may and i would like to obtain a visa for china.
My trip to the Beijing region is plan for 7 days, at the end of June from Hong Kong with a round trip plan ticket.
Could i obtain the visa in any other cities in Myanmar or only Rangoon ?
What kind of information to you need to process the visa at your embassy in rangoon ?
What are your opening hours and the holidays for the month of may ?
How long will it take to obtain the visa ?

Ms.Catherine, you'd better apply for a China tourist visa in France in advance. general processing takes 4 working days. It is safer for you to be granted a visa there. Generally, single entry China visa is valid for 3 months from issue date. You can apply now and it will be good for entry in June. Chinese embassy or consulate in Myanmar may not accept your visa application.
