About:Embassy & Consulates of Malaysia in China

I was visiting my relatives in Haikou, Hainan and scheduled to return back to Malaysia on 9th April 2011.
Before going to the airport at Haikou I realised my waist pouch together with my passport was missing. Please advise me what I should do to obtain the documents to return back. I arrived at Haikou on the 2nd April 2011 with a visa issued by the Chinese embassy in Kuala Lumpur

You need to claim the lose of passport to local police first, and then, publish an advertisement on national wide news paper about the lose, and lastly to replace a passport in China.
