Seems there is no ticket hall in Hong Kong for you to purchase the ticket. You may ask for help from a ticket agent. On the other hand, there are frequent trains from Guangzhou to Wuhan, so you could get the tickets on the spot upon arrive at Guangzhou South Railway Station.1
