Hello. I'm going to be in Xian for two days; I would like to go to Shaolin Temple from there. Is there an express train just to go for few hours and how long does the train take from Xian?  Thanks

There is high speed train from Xian North Railway Station to Zhengzhou, 2-2.5 hours. Then you have to take bus from Zhengzhou to Shaolin Temple.
