About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

My family of four (two adults two children 7 & 12) will visit my family in China this summer. Our route is Canada-Beijing-hongkong-beijing-Canada. Do we need two-entry visa or just one entry is sufficient?

Please advise.

Thanks.

You need a double-entry visa to China. Hong Kong and Mainland China apply different exit and enter controls, they are regarded as two countries in visa issue. Enter Beijing from Hong Kong is regarded as your second entry.
