About:Datong Attractions

I am planing for a trip with my family in June to Datong from Beijing. What would be the best itinerary for 3 days visit in Datong. Please advise best possible way to do and cover most of the sights there.

II advise you make your itinerary as follows:
Day 1: Wutai Mountain
Day 2: Wooden Pagoda-Yanmenguan Pass-Nine-dragon Screen
Day 3: Yungang Grottoes
