Hi there,I am travelling to China in September to attempt to walk the length of The Great Wall of China for charity. This journey will take me approx 9 months. I saw the multiple entry 12 month visa there but am not sure if that means I can stay in the country for the 12 months without leaving or if I need to leave every three months or what??I would really appreciate any advice on the visa options if any one has it?thanks a lot, I hope to hear from you soon.

Multiple entry 12 months visa requires you to leave every 3 months if your visa is with duration of 90 days each entry. But as far as I know, some just did like this to activate next 90 days stay in China: go through the control and return again without actually leaving China.
