i am flying into hong kong on delta.

Question

I am flying into Hong Kong on Delta.  the flight lands at 7:20 Pm  I then have to catch a flight at 9:40 Pm to Xiamen on Dragon Air .  this gives me a 2 hour 20 minute window.   I see Transfer Desks,   E2 for Dragon Air,  how do I transfer My luggage without having to go out to the Main Desk  Do i Pick up the luggage from Delta in the main Luggage area?  please help me understand this procedure and how to maximize my time efficiency so I don't miss my connection and my luggage arrives in Xiamen.

Hi, Mike, you need to accpet the immigration check and  claim your luggage. Then recheck-in your luggage and get your boarding pass for next flight. I think 2 hours and 20 minutes are enough for you to do this transfer.
