About:China Bank Acount, Credit Card, Traveler's Cheque

Can I use mastercard in china? Or do I need visa card?

Neither are ok. Take cash. I'm in Guangzhou city now cant buy myself a meal or withdraw cash anywhere with Visa or with MasterCard. Only Unionpay accepted here. Been trying all day, everywhere selling food, apparently China doesn't want my western money.
