About:China Train

Hi, I’m planning to travel by train from Hong Kong to Sanya on the 20th of April and Sanya to Hong Kong on the 25th. May I know how much is the fare for a hard sleeper from HK to Sanya and Sanya to HK? Is it better to buy train tickets in advance, or should I buy at the train station on these dates? Thanks very much... :)

No trains are operating between Hong Kong and Sanya. However, you could take train or bus to Guangzhou first and then take a train to Sanya. Three trains are available between Sanya and Guangzhou. For example, the ticket price for one hard sleeper is about CNY377 on train K407. In case there are no tickets available when you arrive, it is better for you to book the tickets in advance.
