About:China Customs Declaration

I'm shipping mt son his bass guitar to china from the uk as he is working there for 12 months what import duty will he have to pay

I think your son won't have to pay any tax for that if you send the guitar to him as a gift and the guitar has been used. Even if there will be tax, it will be paid on your side.
