Is it a bad idea to go to Jiuzhaigou in early January?

Not a very good idea, I think. Everything may be covered by snow and it is really cold. If you go in winter, suggest you fly to Jiuzhaigou directly.

Would you mean G635 depart time 16:01? It should be available all year round, but the tickets on this train is not easy to get.
