About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

I am a Canadian living in S.Korea. I have only 3 months validity in my Alien card. We are leaving Korea after that. I have a multiple entry visa to China(obtained in 2010 July) which has expired. I want to apply for a single entry visa to china now. But I have only one blank page left in my passport. I don't have time to apply for passport renewal. Is it possible for me to get an extension on the already given visa? Or is it possible to request the visa office to use the existing visa page? Is there any way I can get a visa without renewing my passport? Kindly advice. Thanks in advance.

The travel agency is saying it is not possible to get the visa stamp. They say they require 3 blank pages. Will it be possible if I apply directly to the China embassy with one blank page?

You can't apply directly through China embassy in South Korea which doesn't accept China visa application from ordinary passport holders. I'm afraid that you have to renew your passport first, then apply for China visa.

It is impossible for you to get an extension on the expired visa, once the vsia expires, you have to apply for a new visa to enter China. It is impossible to request the visa office to use the existing visa page, the new visa will be stamped on the blank visa page. You can still use your present passport to apply for China if there is still one blank visa page.
