About:China Train

Where would we go in Shanghai to catch the bullet train to Hangzhou? How long is the trip? Would we take a cab from the train station then to Xiashan Airport to catch our plane. Our plane leaves Xiashan at 2;00 in the afternoon. How early should we schedule the train in Shanghai to be sure we get to the airport in plenty of time?

You should go to Shanghai Hongqiao Railway station to take the bullet train to Hangzhou. It takes about 1 hours. You may just take theairport shuttle from Hangzhou Chengzhan Railway station to Xiaoshan Airport directly. The ticket fare is CNY20 and it takes about 1 hour. To have enough time to catch your plane, I advise you take a train at about 10:00 am from Shanghai Hongqiao railway station.
