I am Australian citizen,working in Bahrain. Me and my friend would like to travel to China in July for 10 days, do I need visa and how do I apply for visa? My friend has Bahraini passport does he need visa?Ty looking forward to hear from you.

Yes, you and your Bharaini friend need a visa to travel to China. You and your friend need to prepare the below documents: passport, one passport photo, download visa application forms v.2011A and v.2011B and fill them, your friend doesn't need to fill Form v.2011B, book round-trip flights and hotel and get the booking receipts, finanical certificate. You also need to provide the original and copy of your Bahrain residence permit.
