About:Shaanxi Grand Opera House

Hi

Just wondering if anyone has any advice regaring what show is better to see ( Tang Dynasty or the Shaanxi Song and Dance ?) I realise that everyones tastes and recommendations may be different - but is there much difference to the shows ? As the Beijing Shows offer discounted ticket prices - can discounted tickets etc be bought online for shows in Xian as well ?

The tang Dynasty shows are very similar in Tang Dynasty Palace and Shaanxi Song and Dance. The only differnce should be the environment of Tang Dynasty palace is batter than Shaanxi Song and Dance and ticket price is of course higher. The ticket is unavailable online now, I advise you book it through a local travel agency like Travel China Guide.

Hi - thanks for the info -appreciated.
Just wondering if the Tang DYnasty Palace is the same show / at the same theatre on Changan Rd ? Would you have an idea how much the show is ? ( is it approx 200 RMB and 500 RMB with dinner as well ?

You are right that Tang Dynasty Palace is located on Changan Road. There are two shows performed per night, and then ticket fare for the first show starting at 18:30 CNY500, while the ticket fare for the second starting at 20:30 is RMB220.
