About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

As a Canadian Citizen going to work in my company's China affiliate office for two months, do I need a Z Visa or only a Business Visa? Also, do I get my Z Visa here in Toronto (asking my China inviter to send me the documents I need from China), or do I enter China on F Visa and then process Z Visa in China? Is the Z Visa the only document I need to work there? I believe I also need to apply for my residency permit once I arrive there, correct?

You can get a Business Visa to work in China for two months, your affiliate office in China needs to send you an invitation letter, your company in Canada can send you an recommendation letter. It is very complex to prepare the documents for work visa. On the other hand, business visa is ok for your 2 months work in China. You don't need to apply for residence permit if you hold F visa to enter China.
