About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

Dear Sir/Madam

I was previously working in Shanghai but stopped working last year. I have returned to Singapore in February this year to visit my parents for 2 months. My L visa will expire on 9th April. I will be returning to China on 9th April as my husband is working in Beijing (he is a Shanghainese). I will be staying in China for 1 year with my husband. Pls advise whether I need to apply for visa again to stay in China for 1 year. If yes, can I apply in Singapore? If no, what procedures do I need to do when I return to China, so that I can stay in China continuously for 1 year with my husband without working? Pls kindly advise asap as I will need time to make arrangements. Thanks.

That is to say, you have got an L visa to China? and it is a multiple entries visa that you used before, and still valid now? right? If yes, you can enter with it and stay for certain days as the duration for each entry on your visa. If you want to stay in China for 1 year continuously, you need to apply for a new family visit visa (L) either in Singapore or within China.
