Hi,

I'm a Singaporean working professional and need to apply for Z-Visa to work in Shenzhen for 1-year. For me to get my Z-Visa, I need 2 items: 1) Work Permit from Shenzhen, and 2) Medical Report to certify my health is in good order.

My colleague in Shenzhen is helping me arrange for my work permit. As for medical report, I have already done a medical check up at Raffles Medical Centre (in Singapore).

However, my colleague told me that in order for the work permit to be approved in Shenzhen, I need a medical report (to be done in Shenzhen). The bottle neck here seems to be that for me to get Z-Visa, I need my work permit. For me to get work permit, I need to do a medical check up in Shenzhen.

So my question is, can I just send over my medical report to Shenzhen colleague to qualify for my work permit? Or do I need to do a double medical check up (once in Singapore and another time in Shenzhen)?
