Question

We will be in Shanghai in July.  What is the best way to get to Xiaoshan airport from Shanghai?   How long will it take?  We fly out of Xiaoshan Airport on Air Asia Airlines at 1410 in the afternoon.  There will be three of us.  How early in the day should we leave Shanghai?   We want to be sure not to miss our flight.  Thanks for your help!

I suggest you take high speed train from Shanghai to Hangzhou railway station first. Then take the airport shuttle bus from Hangzhou railway station to Xiaoshan Airport.  The train takes about 45 minutes and the airport shuttle bus takes about 40 minutes. You may need to arrive at the airport around 11:00, thus you'd better leave Shanghai before 9am.
