About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

Is it true that no foreigners are currently able to enter Tibet? I wanted to travel there this summer from Chengdu. Do you think Tibet might be open to foreigners by then?

If you want to visit Tibet, you are required to join a tour by a China travel agency, e.g. this travelchinaguide. Individual travelers are not allowed to enter Tibet. Your travel agency in China will process a Tibet Entry Permit from TTB (Tibet Travel Bureau).
