I plan to stop over in guangzhou enroute to wuhan by bullet train. Please advice which hotel to stay in guangzhou for shopping ang convinient to take train to wuhan. Thanks

I think you can stay at Guangzhou Royal Orchid Hotel or Guangzhou Xilai Hotel near to Guangzhou south railway station where the bullet train to Wuhan departs. From Guangzhou south railway station to Beijing Road  and Shangxiajiu road shopping centers of Guangzhou, you can take Guangzhou Subway line 2 from the station to Gongyuanqian, transfer to subway line 1 to Changshou Road, and then walk to the shopping areas for about 10 minutes.
