I am staying at the Crowne Plaza on Wangfujing St and planning to travel by train to Shanghai. Which rail terminal should I leave from, Beijing or Beijing South?

From Beijing to Shanghai, it takes around 10hrs by D trains departing from Beijing south station, while more than 13hrs by T trains leaving at Beijing station. You could check the train schedules on the web and choose your preferred train. From Crowne Plaza Hotel, Beijing, it is just 4km to Bejing station.
