I will have a 8 hours layover at Beijing airport. Is it possible for me to visit the Great Wall during the time period? Thanks in advance.

Time is really limited. A single trip from the airport to the nearest Badling Great Wall takes more than two hours. So about 4 hours will be spent on the road. And you need to leave time for the airport check out and check in, say 1.5 hours at least. You have 2.5 hours on the Wall at most. I don't think it enough. You'd better go to some other places in downtown Beijing.
