Can anyone tell me what is the best way to go Yantai city from Taixing city (Jiangsu Province). I don't want to fly from Shanghai to Yantai. Need other option.

Get to Nanjig by bus and then take train to Yantai (about 2 hours). There is one train (over 15 hours) from Nanjing Railway Station, but it leaves 2:40am. Or take airplane from Nanjing to Yantai. There is one flight a day at 9:30am and arrive at Yantai 1h10m later.
