About:Chinese Consulate in Sydney

I am a German citizen and I am going to be travelling in Australia for four weeks in May bevor returning to Germany. On my flight back I have a stopover in Beijing. I am currently rebooking my ticket because I would like to spend 3 days in Beijing. Can I apply for a China visa in Sydney ? Could I do this in the beginning of my trip and pick it up four weeks later prior to my departure to China?

Yes, you can apply for China visa in Sydney, but non-Australian passport holders should provide valid Australian visa as well as entry record (Original and the copy). You can submit visa application at the beginning of your trip, then pick it up four weeks later prior to your departure to China. Generally speaking, applicants will collect their visa and passport on time, if you collect them four weeks after application, you run the risk of losing your passport and visa.
