About:Jiankou Great Wall

We want to do the hike on our own kind of - i mean just hire a taxi that will take us there in the morning and bring us back in the afternoon. How hard is it to find the trail and stay on it? Is the entire trail on the wall or does it go around it too? My only concern is that we will get lost and nobody in our group speaks Chinese.

The trail is clear to see and it is just a bit difficult and danger to walk on the part. Do not stay on it. The trail is mostly on the wall. So, you will not get lost. Some part is dangeroud and broken, you have to make a deture. There are several trails from the mountain foot village up to the Jiankou Great Wall. Anyway, be careful. Tianti - Beijing Jie section is the most adventruous part.
