About:China Visa Application in USA

Is it required that I go to the Consulate that represents my state? For example I am in Florida and my Consulate is Houston. However, I am making a business trip to California and will be near the Los Angeles Consulate. Can I go there instead? Thank you!

No, you are required to submit your visa application to Chinese consulate in Houston, which hold Florida as its consular district.
