About:Kunming Attractions

Hi, we have a group of 5 ladies planning to visit Kunming in Oct 2011. Please recommend us a tour company who provides good transport and guide. Also we intent to take the highest train to Lhasa. Pls advise how to buy ticket besides internet booking. How far is Chengdu from Kunming if by car? Thanks

For forigners, you should get the travel permit to Tibet first and then buy train ticket. It is 870km by expressway, 15 hours between Chengdu and Kunming. Perhaps train journeys are better. I recommend you contact TravelChinaGuide for tour planning. They can handle travel permit and train journeys.
