About:Lantau Island

I have booked a hotel in Hong Kong at Silvermine Beach Hotel on Lantau Island for the 18 April. However, I am now being told that is quite difficult to get to.

Can anyone advise the cheapest route from Shenzhen (or central Hong Kong) to this hotel on sunday night, and also how to get for there to the airport for our flight.

Actually, our flight is in the evening on the Monday, and I am told there are some great ancient attractions on Lantau Island. What is the best way to get around, taxi or public transport?

Yes, no direct bus from HKIA to Silvermine Beach Hotel, you have to take bus no. S1 from the airport to Tung Chung subway station, transfer to bus no. 3M to the hotel. If you take a taix, it cost about HKD80 excluding the road and bridge tolls. However, it it very convenient to visit the HK attractions at lantau island by public bus from the hotel, and there are ferries between the hotel and Central area.
