About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

where do i get the invitation letter from ,how can i know the details of residences?and allso the details of my contact person and contact unit ?when all i would like to do is travel from russia to beijing and then jump on a train and travel to thailand .
It seems to be impossible to provide this info that is in the future ?the appliacation form allso asks how long will i be staying ,how long is a piece of string ?do i lie about this information ???
i have just completed my russian application form ,and it had the same crazy questions ,but was easely solved by paying a travel service centre to do the lying for me !!!it was provided in a link from the application site .the document that they sent me the same day is a required document ,for the application form ,but it doesn,t seem as easy for the chinese form ,,please help

Hi, Mr.Nathan, what visa are you going to apply for? as what you have said above, your visit to China is only for transit, right? If yes, no invitation letter is required, so does the residence. If you have no proper answers to the application form, you can just put N/A there.

cool thanks for that ,i am actually applying for a one entry tourist visa ,and the questions about the contact unit and contact person in the application form seem quite important ,if i put N/A,wouldn,t that effect my chances of recieving the visa ?china seems quite strict i feel if i leave anything unanswered ,they will reject my app
