About:China Postal Service

i ordered an expensive item from China. The Chinapost tracking reads: passed China customs while other trackings read departure from outward office of exchange, Guangzhou. The supplier does not reply.
The item was posted on 12 February 2011, destination: Mauritius, tracking No RR860578455CN. Never before an import from China had taken so much time. Is there any chance that the said parcel is lost???

Generally, it will not be lost. Yes, it really take a long time. I had got the parcel returned from the destination country and local post office call me to pick it up and resent again. It did spend 1-2 months when I sent the parcel to UK in last October. You may get touch with local post office in Mauritius. I can't find there is another way but waiting.
