About:Juyongguan Great Wall

Is the Juyongguan Pass on Great Wall of China possible to be seen by people on whel chairs. Can wheel chairs go up on the wall where tourists go and look around.

Please let me know as I will be brininging my son who is on a wheel chair in mid April 2011.

It is possible, but really dangerous. I advise you not do that. If you do want to taek your son up to the Great Wall, you will have to hire some people to help you.

Absolutely not! It is extremely steep at some points. I was just there yesterday, and people walking on their own were having trouble. I heavy set lady fell backwards and only a few strong young guys below her stopped her, prevented a major disaster from taking many people down with her. You might choose a more shallow place like Badaling 20 minutes drive away so he can see the GW.
